A vacancy exists for a Speech & Language Pathologist within the Office of Student Services for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- Valid PA certification in Speech & Language Pathology
- Eligible for PA state licensure
- Experience with delivering speech services to a variety of preschool and school age children is preferred.
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct service to students who present a variety of speech and language disorders in classrooms. Evaluating students in the areas of speech and language as needed. Consulting with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language. Developing goals and treatments plans. Potentially writing IEP's and re-evaluation reports.
Estimated Work Days and Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day
Salary:
$56,000 - $110,534
