A vacancy exists for a Long-term Substitute Secondary Special Education Teacher within the Office of Student Services for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. This position works with Secondary level students at the Anderson School in Eagleville, PA.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA certification in Special Education N-12 (new cert Special Education 7-12)
• English 7-12 certificate preferred.
• Experience with secondary students needing emotional support preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:

instruction an IEP case management for students in need of emotional support programming.

Estimated Work Days and Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day

Salary:

$47,000 - $65,000 (pro-rated)
