A vacancy exists for a Vision Teacher for Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Student Services.  This is an itinerant position and provides services to students throughout Montgomery County. 

Qualifications:

- A valid PA certification in Teacher of the Visually impaired (TVI) and Orientation & Mobility (O & M certification or interest in obtaining an O & M certification preferred.)

- Prefer Unified English Braille trained (UEB) 

- Experience with students with vision support needs.

- Current child abuse, PA Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearance (dated within one year of hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:

To develop an individualized program for students with vision support needs.

Salary:

$47,000-$110,534
