A vacancy exists for an EI Vision Teacher for Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Student Services.  This is an itinerant position that works 194 days/year and provides servics to students throughout Montgomery County. 

Qualifications:

- A valid PA certification in Teacher of the Visually impaired (TVI) (dual certification in TVI and Orientation & Mobility preferred)

- Unified English Braille trained (UEB) 

- Experience providing direct and consult services to students with vision support needs.

- Current child abuse, PA Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearance (dated within one year of hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- To conduct Evaluations, write evaluation reports and develop an individualized program for students with vision support needs.

- Consult with parents and other professionals as needed

- Maintaining progress data and completing web based data system

Salary:

$47,000-$110,534
