A vacancy exists for an MDS Teacher within the Office of Student Services for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. This position is located in the School District of Springfield Township and works with secondary level students.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA certification in Special Education N-12 (or Special Education 7-12).
• Experience with secondary students with complex needs.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by MCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Instruction and IEP case management for students with complex needs.  Provide quality support programming.

Estimated Work Days and Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours per day

$47,000-$110,534
