Teacher Assistant – Work with Children and make a difference!!

If you are Ethical, Dynamic, Team Oriented and are dedicated and committed to being a talented professional Teacher Assistant –  we want to talk to you regarding  immediate open needs in Montgomery County PA for The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
The role of the teacher assistant is to assist the teacher to carry out the appropriate educational programs for the students assigned to the special education program.
The ideal candidate will need experience working with children in the following programs:
 
Early Intervention
Autism support
Emotional Support
Multi-disabled support
 
Earn up to $14.15 an hour
 
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of postsecondary study and have a minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited university or school
Possess an associate degree or  have a current  Pennsylvania Special Education Para educator Certification
Resume must reflect at least 1 year of experience working with children in a school setting, Preferably in emotional support/ Autistic support classroom
Current PA Required Clearances (child abuse/criminal) current to this year and must the original
Cogent Fingerprint a MUST TO START CASES.
Current Physical/PPD
Current CPR/FA certification
 *** All credentials must be originals. Copies will not be accepted*****
 
Staffing Plus will assist in obtaining all PA mandated clearances
Including PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background Check and PA Cogent FBI Clearance
CPR, First Aid and all other required trainings can be obtained through our on-site training department!
